Mrs. Mary Sayles, aged 77 years, widow of the late John Sayles, former well 
known residents of this community, passed away Friday morning at about ten 
o’clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Loree, of Grand Rapids.  She 
is survived by two others daughters, Mrs. Frank Brooks, of Detroit and Mrs. 
Walter Pasco, of Evansville, Indiana.  Louis Sayles of this city is a son as is 
also Leon Sayles, of Fremont.

Funeral services were held at Grand Rapids on Monday morning and burial was in 
the Soldiers Home cemetery by the side of Mr. Sayles, who passed away some 
years ago.
