The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, January 8, 1941
Theodore Scheid, 49, lifelong resident of Keene township five miles south of 
Belding, died at his home Monday.  Mr. Scheid was born in Keene township June 
9, 1891, and had lived in the township all of his life.  He was married about 
25 years ago, the couple farming in the township since that time.  

Survivors are the wife, Christine; three sons, Walter, Gerald and Arthur, all 
at home; five brothers, Albert of Ionia, Joseph in Minnesota, Leonard of 
Ionia, Andrew of Standish, and George of Keene township; two sisters, Mrs. 
Matthias Laux of Keene township and Mrs. Albert Laux of Otisco township. 

The rosary service was given at the farm home Tuesday evening and the regular 
funeral service with the Fales funeral home in charge, will be at St. Mary’s 
Catholic church at Miriam, Rev. R. J. Kelly officiating with burial in Miriam 
cemetery.
