The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, June 3, 1955


Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Bertha Schlosser, 72, 
of South Ionia, who died late Thursday afternoon in Lakeview hospital.  She had 
suffered a stroke.

The services will be held at the Myers funeral home and burial will be at the 
mausoleum of Highland Park cemetery.

In 1901 Mrs. Schlosser was married to John Schlosser of Ionia rural route.  She 
was the mother of seven children.  Three of them survive.  They are John T. 
Schlosser of Ionia Route 2, Mrs. Harold Scheurer of Ionia Route 2, and Mrs. 
Lloyd Whipple of Langston.  Also surviving are a brother, D. S. Antcliff of 
Belding, a sister, Blanch Antcliff, also of Belding and five grandchildren.
