Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. April 14, 1975

Wallace A. Shroll, 85, of route 1, Lake Odessa, died Sunday at the Christensen 
nursing home in Greenville.

Born at Pierson May 5, 1889, he was the son of Amos and Levisa Shroll. He came 
from Greenville to Lake Odessa in 1958 after being retired from the Federal 
Mogul at Greenville.

He was a member of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church at Greenville; past master of 
the Greenville lodge F & AM, and past commander of the Ionia Commandary.

January 19, 1911, he was married at Greenville to Elreta Mourer who died August 
1, 1957. He was later married May 20, 1958,, to Elgie Curtis, who died 
September 22, 1971.

Surviving are a son, W.D. Shroll of Greenville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Marion 
Klein and Mrs. Elaine Stanger of Lake Odessa; two grandchildren and 11 step 
grandchildren and several step great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Brown-Teman funeral 
home at Greenville, Rev. Charles Lynch of the Ionia St. Johns Episcopal church 
will officiate.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
