BELDING- Ralph A. Simmons, 71, of Rainbow Lake, died unexpectedly Sunday 
morning, Nov. 25, 2012, at home.

Ralph was born Feb. 18, 1941, in Sheridan, the son of Adelbert and Hazel 
(Fisher) Simmons.

Ralph graduated from Sheridan High School with the class of 1959 and later 
worked for many years at GM in Lansing retiring in 1999. Ralph was a past 
member of the UAW Local 602 and was a member of the Maple Rapids Congregational 
Christian Church. He loved his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing and yard work. 
He was married on March 19, 1993, in Mason to Jessica (Loper) Corey.

Ralph is loved and survived by his wife, Jessica and their children, Richard 
and Martha Simmons of Pewamo, Douglas and Cheryl Simmons of Lansing, Kimberly 
Simmons of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Herbert Jr. and Chris Corey of Holt, Eric and 
Wendy Corey of St. Johns; his grandchildren, Andrew, Bryce, Brehan, Elizabeth, 
Evelyn, Edith and Edgar; one great-grandson; and a brother, Leroy and Sharon 
Simmons of Ashley.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Alice Gilbert.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will 
be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church, 
410 Maple St., Maple Rapids, with Pastor Jerry Kissling officiating.

The family will greet relatives and friends one hour before the service at 
church.

Memorials may be given to the Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church. 
Envelopes will be available at church and at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding, where cremation services were entrusted.
