Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Feb. 4, 1926

The body of Mrs. Emma Sorge, who died at her home in Detroit, Wednesday, will 
be brought to Ionia Friday for interment in Oak Hill cemetery by the side of 
her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Sorge were Ionia residents for many years, the former 
being a guard at the reformatory. Tow sons of Detroit, one of Toledo and a 
daughter of Lansing survive.
