Deceased had been a resident of Belding for 25 years, was a blacksmith by occupation until six years ago when he retired from active use of the hammer and anvil. He leaves a widow and three children; two daughters, Mrs. Claude Spicer and Mrs. Albert Rummler of Belding and a son, Fred Stall of Boyne City. He was a respected citizen and his sudden death was a shock to many friends.
