Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. July 25, 1963

Funeral services were held Tuesday in Grand Rapids for Mrs. Charles E. Stoddard 
who died July 20 at the home of her daughter in Grand Rapids. She had been ill 
three months. 

Mrs. Stoddard, sister of Mrs. Harry Buxton of Ionia; was a former Ionia 
resident and until 1934 when she and her husband moved to Grand Rapids, lived 
on Jackson street and until 1933 Mr. Stoddard operated a grocery store on 
Lincoln avenue in partnership with Mr. Buxton. 

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ben Hartman, Mrs. Bernard Gryska and 
Mrs. L.E. Pullen all of Grand Rapids, and two brothers, Delbert Buxton of Grand 
Rapids and Harry of Ionia.
