Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 3 Feb 1976

Ernest R. Stone, 66, of 519 Ionia, Belding, died unexpectedly Sunday at
Cleveland, Ohio.  He was enroute home after visiting his son in Virginia.  Born
in Chatham county, N.C., September 3, 1903, he was the son of John and Mishia
Yow Stone.

His wife Angie died in 1957.  Among his survivors are a son Ernest R. Jr., of
Virginia Beach, Va., and brother, Paul Stone of Bennett, N.C.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Huffman funeral home in Belding. 
Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate.  Interment will be at West Hill cemetery,
Dalton, Ga.
