Death claimed one of Ionia’s young ladies last Friday morning, when Miss Jane 
Succop, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. B. H. Succop, North Jefferson street, passed 
away after a long illness.  She returned here last December from the Howell 
Sanitarium, where she had been for treatment.

The funeral was held from the Lutheran church on Tuesday afternoon. She had 
many friends in the city and was a graduate of the high school here in the 
class of 1918.  She had been employed in the offices of the Ypsilanti Reed 
Furniture company until last July, at which time she went to the Howell 
institution.

Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Rev. Henry Succop, Big 
Rapids; Martin and Theodore, who live at home, and three sisters, Helena and 
Gertrude Succop and Miss Margaret Succop of Detroit, a trained nurse.
