Ionia County News, page 7, 24 Dec 1953

Mrs. Mary Helen Thomas, 665 West Washington Street, Ionia, died in Memorial
Hospital, South Bend, Indiana Wednesday afternoon, December 16.  She had been
ill since September of this year.

Mrs. Thomas was born in Hartford City, Indiana, May 24, 1894, and with her
sister, Mrs. Ruth Davison, and her husband, came to Ionia about five year ago. 
Mr. Thomas died here in 1950.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Davison, Short Way agent in Ionia, and a
brother, Harry Ervin, of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Funeral service was held from Hays Funeral Home, South Bend, Indiana, Saturday
afternoon, and burial was in South Bend.
