William S. Tietz Dies Unexpectedly
William Stanley Tietz, 42, died unexpectedly from a heart attack Thursday morning.
Jan. 2, at his home at 1704 DeCree Ave. West Columbia, S. C. He had been an air conditioning
engineer with a Columbia firm for about 14 years.

Son of Mrs. Frances Tietz in Lake Odessa, he graduated from the Lake Odessa schools
with the class of 1941. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving besides his mother are his widow, Barbara, a son William Charles, 18, and
two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Donna) Wilson at Westover Air force Base, Mass., and Mrs. Arthur
(Jane) Hinman at Cincinnati, Ohio.

Funeral service was held and internment made at Columbia, Saturday afternoon.
