Mr. and Mrs. Trumpower had lived at Chase, Michigan until a week ago, when they moved back to Branch. Sunday morning he complained of not feeling well and his condition gradually grew worse until the end. Several months ago the store and household goods at that place were destroyed by fire, and Mr. Trumpower had just got his business interests at Chase adjusted and had removed to Branch with intentions of engaging in business again when the end came. Besides the widow, Mr. Trumpower is survived by six sisters and three brothers. They are Mrs. Maggie Canton of Scottsville, Mrs. Emma Runyon, Mrs. Freeman Rathbun and Mrs. Clark Rathbun of Lake Odessa, Mrs. Huff of Barryton and Mrs. Daisy Lyons of Ohio. The brothers are Peter of Umpy, N.Y., William of Canada, and Dan of Branch. The funeral was held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Miner this afternoon at two o’clock, Rev. Taggart officiating. Burial was made in Portland cemetery.
