Ionia Sentinel Standard
  Van GIESEN, FRANK:
   IONIA DAILY SENTINEL-STANDARD, MICH., MONDAY, NOV. 30, 1942, p 3:  "Deaths -
Frank Van Giesen, 72, died Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock at his home in Easton
after a serious illness of one week.  He had been in ill health for some time. 
Born January 24, 1870, he had lived his entire life in Easton township.
   Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Florence Petersen, Rt. 3, Ionia, Mrs.
Lucille Taylor, Marne, and Mrs. Fannie Hall Rt. 3, Ionia; six grandchildren, one
sister, Mrs. Bernice Ostrum, of Orleans.  A son, John Van Giesen, preceded him
in death January 24, 1941.
   Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Myers
funeral home.  Rev. F. O. Dunbar of the First Methodist church will officiate
and burial will be in the family lot in Easton cemetery."
