Ionia Daily Sentinel, 28 Jan 1942

Mrs. May L. Walker, 83, died Wednesday morning at 3 a.m. after a six weeks’ 
illness at her home in Saranac.  Born in Boston township, May 9, 1858, she had 
lived all of her life in that vicinity.  Her husband, George Walker, died 11 
years ago.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Susie Raymond of Saranac and Mrs. Hattie Dean 
of Rockford.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Morris funeral 
home in Saranac.  Rev. Frank Loomis will officiate and interment will be at the 
South Boston cemetery.
