Ionia Sentinel - 14 June 1971
Mrs. Vivian Elaine Walkington, 30, route 3, Musgrove highway, Lake Odessa, died 
early Saturday morning in Grand Rapids.  She was born July 19, 1940 in Orange 
township; the daughter of Sterrey and Kathleen Moore Stout.  August 16, 1958, 
she was married to Bruce Walkington at LeValley Methodist church.  They had 
resided at the present address since their marriage.  She was a member of 
Sebewa Center United Methodist church and a 1958 graduate of Ionia high 
school.  She was also active in the 4H club, where she worked in the extension 
office.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce; two daughters, Cynthia and Carolyn and 
two sons, Lewis and Terry; mother, Mrs. Kathleen Stout; one brother, William 
Stout; two sisters, Thelma Stout and Edith Stout, all of Orange township.

Mrs. Walkington will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home in Ionia until noon 
Monday, when she will be taken to LeValley Methodist church for services at 2 
pm.  Interment will be at West Sebewa cemetery.  A memorial fund has been 
established.
