LAKE ODESSA- Frederick Harold Walkington, 70, of Lake Odessa died Wednesday in 
Pennock Hospital, Hastings.

Born Feb. 14, 1915, in Blanchard, Mich., he was the son of Fred and Mabel 
Pierson Walkington. He attended Blanchard Schools.

He was married to Laura Belle Carter. She preceded him in death in 1977.

Surviving are a son, Arnold, of Lake Odessa and two daughters, Laurine Henry 
and Phyllis Fetterman, both of Lake Odessa; 10 grandchildren; one great 
grandson; four brothers, Ora of Portland; Leo of Ithaca, Charles of Greenville 
and Ralph of Blanchard; two sisters, Opal Amon of Blanchard and Ruth Hutchinson 
of Mt. Pleasant. One brother, Arlo, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Koops Funeral Chapel in 
Lake Odessa, the Rev. George Speas officiating.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.

The family will be at Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, Friday from 7 to 9 
p.m. and Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
