Tom was also a member of the VFW. Every Thanksgiving he would go up north with his buddies to go "hunting" which really meant playing cards and drinking beer. Tom loved to golf and would go on golf trips to Wisconsin with his sons. One of Tom's greatest joys in life were his grandchildren. They had many memorable travels and outings, even if that just meant breakfast at Bosley's Pharmacy. After Arlene's passing, he met and married Margaret Breckon in 2016 and gained 3 step-daughters.
