                             ROBERT JAMES WHEELER

Died September 6, 2022-age 77
Born October 5, 1947 son of Carroll "Sonny" and Doris Wheeler.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam War (1967-1968).
Lifetime member of the VFW Post #4646 and of the American Legion.
Retired from General Motors after 42 years of service.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, horseshoes, but mostly loved his 
family.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Survived by his wife of 35 years, Diane; children, Kammi (Melanie) Wheeler, 
Robert H.Wheeler,Richard (Shelly) Spaans, James (Amy) Wheeler and Nikolaus 
(Heather) Wheeler; 6 grandchildren; brother, John (Torri) Wheeler; sisters, 
Cheryl (Chuck) Gilmore and Tammy Wheeler (Pete Harkrader).
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Saturday September 17, 2022 at the 
Lehman Funeral Home, Rich Street, Ionia.
Visitation from 3-7 on Friday September 9, 2022.
