Mrs. Clarissa White, aged 60 years, well known and highly esteemed local woman 
died at her home, 123 S. Broas street, Tuesday morning about eleven o’clock 
following several months of ill health.  Mrs. White was a life long resident of 
this community and although her sickness had given her legion of friends cause 
to fear the worst, still it was with deep regret that news of the passing of 
this splendid woman was learned of.  

Funeral services will be held from the home, Friday afternoon at two o’clock, 
Rev. Ellis, of the Congregational church officiating and burial will be in 
Otisco cemetery by the side of her husband, the late Frank White, who died some 
years ago.  Surviving are the mother, Mrs. Cadelia Fisk, two daughters, Alva 
and Abbie, at home, and two sons, Ralph, of Easton, and Don, of Ionia.  The 
family has the sympathy and consolation of their many friends in this hour of 
their great bereavement.
