Hasting's Reminder-Saturday February 19, 2022

                       ROBERT EDWARD WHITE

Robert Edward White passed away on February 10, 2022, in Hasting's MI.

He was born in Ionia, on November 24, 1942, the son of Lesley Edward and Thelma 
(Oglesbee) White. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1961. He served in 
the United States Army from 1968-1970 in Vietnam. In 1996 he retired from 
General Motors after 30 years.

For 45 years Bob would take trips to Canada with his friends where they would 
hunt, fish and camp. He loved spending time with his family, especially his 
grandchildren and close uncle and aunt David and Judi Oglesbee.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Avalee (Walker) White; son, Chad White of Hastings; 
step-children, Keith (Sharon) Briggs of Hopkins; grandchildren, Drew White fo 
Grand Rapids, Breanna White of Hastings, Amanda(Matt) Rodriguez of Grand Rapids, 
Nick (Patti) Briggs of Allegan, Jenny Briggs of Grand Rapids, and Anthony Briggs 
of Lansing.

He didn't want a funeral and wished to be cremated. there will be a Celebration 
of Life Service at a later date.
