Ionia Sentinel Standard, 23 Dec 1963

Victor W. Wilson, 78, Sebewa township farmer, route one, Portland, died at 3 
p.m. Saturday at Ionia County Memorial hospital where he was confined 20 days.

He was born January 15, 1885 in Detroit the son of Arthur and Marie Honner 
Wilson.  He was married October 23, 1913 to Ella Peacock and resided the past 
50 years at their Sebewa township farm.

Mr. Wilson was a member of Portland Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Rose Ainsworth of rural Lake 
Odessa, Mrs. Joyce Luscher of rural Portland and Mrs. Carol Cassel of Portland; 
two sons, Royal Wilson of Birmingham, and Keith of rural Lake Odessa; several 
grandchildren.

Funeral service was conducted at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon at Pickens funeral 
chapel in Lake Odessa with the Rev. Loyal Harris officiating.  Interment was at 
Lakeside cemetery.
