The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, August 6, 1982

Opal Wilson, 50, of 6958 Johnson Road, Belding, died Thursday at Belding 
Community Hospital.  She was born in Orleans Township, October 3, 1931, to 
Fred and Eva Minikey.

She is survived by her husband, James C., her parents, Fred and Eva Minikey, 
of Ionia; two daughters, Mrs. David (Bonnie) Pierson of Belding, and Mrs. Al 
(Connie ) Hodges, Belding; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Hagen, Belding, Mrs. Ruth 
Woodbury, Belding, and Mrs. Dorothy Andrews, Ionia; two brothers, Lyle 
Minikey, Sheridan, and Donald Minikey, Ionia; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Shiloh Community Church, with 
Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Burial will be in Otisco Cemetery.  The 
family will be at the Huffman Funeral Home in Belding Friday from 7-8:30 p.m. 
and Saturday from 2-4:00 and 7-8:30 p.m.
