Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. Dec. 11, 1961

William H. Wilson, 89, a retired farmer, died December 10 at a Belding 
convalescent home after a lingering illness. He lived most of his life at a 
farm on Palmer road.

He was born in Orange township, Ionia county, August 1 1872, and was married in 
February 1909 to Carrie Tallman who died in 1950. 

Mr. Wilson was a member of Belding Baptist church, Baptist Brotherhood and Good 
Fellowship clubs.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Samuel Abbott of Fort Myers, Fla. and Mrs. 
Victoria Cowen of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and one grandson, Albert Jensen of 
Greenville.

Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding 
with the rev. Frank Gillett of Belding Baptist church, officiating. Burial will 
be at Tuttle cemetery near Ionia.
