Leo D. Willson 58, Died on Wednesday

Leo D. Wilson, 58, of 800 Lyons road, Portland, passed away early Wednesday
morning at St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, where he had been a patient since
Monday night.  He was the son of William and Hester Dailey Wilson and was a
native of Ionia county and former local resident.  He has been a resident of
Portland about 15 years moving there from Lansing.  He was the manager of
Lansing Cartage Co. for the last seven years and was also employed as a freight
solicitor for Kramer Bros. Freight line of Detroit.

Surviving are his wife, Lillian; three sons, James and William of Grand Rapids,
and Leon D. at home; a grandson Leo J. of Grand Rapids; his step-mother Mrs.
Mabel Willman of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Neva Sumner of California, Mrs.
Lewis (Estella) Robinson of Lake Odessa, and Mrs. Vivian Stevens of Kalamazoo,
and a brother, Raymond of Lansing.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at the Neller funeral home at Portland
with burial in the Bowne township cemetery near Alto.  Rev. Blanche Neller
officiated.
