Ionia Sentnel-Standard - Mon. Nov. 9, 1936

The death of John P. Winniger, 62, occurred Monday morning, Nov. 9, at his farm 
in Berlin township four and one-half miles southeast of Saranac on which he was 
born. He had been confined to his bed for three weeks although his health had 
been poor for a long time.

He is survived by his wife Bertha, one daughter, Mrs. Mark Harwood of Flint and 
one grandchild.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, November 11 at the home at 2 o’clock. 
Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.
