DONALD A. EMELANDER, 68
   Donald A. Emelander, 68, of Belding, MI, passed away Feb. 19, 2021.  He was born
on Nov. 19, 1952, in Ionia MI, the son of George and Thelma Emelander.  He is survived 
by his wife Ginger, his sons Doug McNutt Jr. and Greg Emelander, his daughter 
Christine (Dustin) Sabin, and his two granddaughters Kyla and Chloe Boutell, his 
sisters Judy Mary, Nancy, Jean, Gloria his brother Garett (Cathy), Nephews Geoff 
(Michelle), James, Jerry (Kristy) Emelander, and multiple nieces and nephew.
  Don will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity.  He was a deeply
religious man who loved serving God through his selfless outreach and community 
evangelism.  During his spare time, he would drink coffee with his friends at the Blue 
Water Cafe (whom he talked about often), find new people to share Jesus with, or look 
for the next rock to add to his collection.
   Visitation was at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia, MI Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, from 4-8
pm.  The funeral will be a private event for close friends and family.
   Anyone wishing, may make memorial contributions in Don's name to the National
Kidney Foundation.
