Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. May 31, 2012

Bernice Wright, 46, of Ionia, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, May 
29, 2012 at Spectrum Health United Campus I Greenville. Bernice was born on 
March 23, 1966 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Walter and Laurine (Wireman) 
Prater. She attended Jesus non denominational church in Greenville.

Bernice married Koven Wright in Orleans on April 19, 1981 and he survives along 
with their children, Todd (Heather) Wright and James (Stacy) Wright, all of 
Ionia; her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Shawn, Kirsten, Jordyn and Elijah; her 
siblings, Sandra (David) Schneer of Round Head, Ohio, Mary (Melvin) Nickel, Ray 
(Paula) Prater all of Belding, Linda O'Conner of Orleans, Connie (Bruce) Hale 
of Ionia and John Prater of Orleans. 

She is preceded by her parents, several aunts and uncles.

Graveside funeral services will be noon on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Orleans 
Township Cemetery with her brother-in-law, Pastor Dave Schneer officiating. No 
visitation will take place. 

Memorial contributions may be given to the wishes of the family.
