MRS. MARY ALICE PETEE
     Blissfield, Jan. 6-----Mrs. Mary Alice PETEE, 86 years old, widow
of Paul PETEE, died at 1:30 a.m. today at the home of her son and wife,
Mr. and Mrs. Milford PETEE at 138 South Monroe Street.  She had been in
failing health for years.
     Mrs. PETEE was born in Cleveland and moved to Blissfield when a small
child, spending the rest of her life in the community.  She married Mr.
PETEE in 1886 and he preceeded her in death in 1947.
     She is survived by two sons, Edward and Milford, both of Blissfield;
two daughters, Mrs. Mary GLENN of Toledo and Mrs. George CLOTHIER of Miami,
Fla.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
     The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian
church with the Rev. James Van Pernis officiating.  Burial will be in
Pleasant View cemetery.  The body will be at the Tagsold Funeral home until
time for the service.
