William G. Spaulding

Dundee-- William G. Spaulding, 75, of Dundee died Saturday in the Ann Arbor
Veterans Hospital. He had been ill since Nov. 5.

No visiting hours or services are scheduled. Arrangements are being handled 
by the Cover Funeral Home in Dundee. Burial of his ashes will be at Oak Grove
Cemetery in Dundee.

Born Oct. 13, 1923, in Dundee he was the son of Frederick Silvanus and Eva 
(Palmer) SPAULDING. He married Naomi V. Lewis Sept. 7, 1946 in Deerfield, 
Michigan.

Mr. Spaulding was employed as a machine operator at Woodall Industries until
he retired in 1980.

He served in the Army during World War II as a Staff Sergeant at Guadalcanal 
and Luzon.

He is survived by his wife, four sons, Frederick of Dundee, Steven and
Jeffery of Petersburg, and Paul of Britton, Mich.. A daughter; Mrs.
Kevin (Kathy) Zorn of Dundee; two sisters, Edith Heiden of Dundee and Lottie
May Bolster of Petersburg; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 
three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Lee and Kaylynn, three 
brothers, Ernie, Carl, and Verl, and a sister, Rhea Shankerton.

Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation.
