Herrick District Library Obituaries (1940-2003) Holland, Michigan
Gerrit P. Meeusen, 74, of Zeeland, died at Holland Hospital, following a 
lingering illness. 
He was a member of the North Street Christian Reformed Church. He worked at 
Colonial Manufacturing Co. in Zeeland for 46 years, until his retirement. 
Surviving are his wife Janet; four sons, Nelson of Phoenix, AZ, Howard and 
Preston of Zeeland, Gordon of Holland; three daughter, Lenora and James 
Blauwkamp of Zeeland, Joyce and Jack Veldheer of Holland and Norma and Ronald 
De Vries of Overisel; 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; one sister-in-
law, Mrs. Lewis Meeuwen of Zeeland.
Services will be held Monday at Yntema Funeral Home, with the Rev. C.W. 
Niewehuis officiating. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
