As of July, 2008, the new website of the Michigan Centennial Farms Program in now available at Centennialfarms.org. The program moved on July 1st from the Michigan Historical Commission, a part of the Michigan Department of History, Arts and Libraries, to the Historical Society of Michigan, a non-governmental non-profit. The Society is the state's oldest cultural organization, founded in 1828 by territorial governor Lewis Cass and explorer Henry Schoolcraft. |
