Cemetery is located on Chesterfield Road, (west side) north of 24 Mile Road. There was a cemetery on Gratiot at 24 Mile Road at an early date. Possibly, with the widening of Gratiot, the graves would have been moved to the Hart Cemetery. (Note from Webmaster - this transcription was given to me, made from copies generated in 1970. No doubt it has been copied time and time again. I regret that my copy is rather poor and in parts, difficult to read and dates can be "anybody's guess".
