CAPTION: James Hall, who was hired into Onaway Area Community Schools in 1964 as a math
and chemistry teacher, was appointed superintendent with a three-year contract. He had
served the district for 22 years when the decision was made in 1976 and held the positions
of Onaway Junior High principal and athletic director.  He also served as president of the 
Onaway Community Federal Credit Union.
