CAPTION: In 1976, it was National Hopsital week and the Rogers City Area Ambulance Service had only been in existence for 21 months. Featured in a front-page photo were, from left, emergency medical technician (EMT) Art Deletzke, assistant hospital administrator Jim Murray and Rosemary Trapp. When the service started in 1974, there were no trained EMTs. In less than two years, there were 18 employees from seven departments at the hospital that had taken the training.
