On Leo's Parents Henry and Edith (Soper) Eggleston, His Mother is one of 21 children of Henry H. Soper who was last married to (Francina, Francene, Francenah, Frannie) I have four diffrent ways to spell her name.

researching Julia F. Hancock who was born June 16, 1844 in Pokagon, Cass County, Michigan, the daughter of Slinthiris (Clinton) Hancock and Sarah Bisbee. Julia F. Hancock married Gabriel G. Palmer and settled in Hinton Township, Mecosta County, Michigan where six children were born; four of whom were lost young to Diptheria.
Julia F. (Hancock) Palmer is a Cousin to my Great Great Great Grandfather and Civil War Veteran Elisha Poland of whom I know fairly little.

Ekenbarger (Eckenberger) - I am researching the John Ekenbarger (Eckenberger) family of Cass County in Volinia Township (later of Decatur). John is my 3 great grandfather, and is on record having property granted from the Land Office under Pres. Jackson in 1833 in Cass County. He is buried in Charleston Cemetery. Flurry - Jacob Flury and his wife Catherine Rees moved to Cass county between 1864 and 1870. They moved from Elkhart county Indiana with a son. They show up on the federal 1870 census in Penn township, Cass county. The 1880 federal census still shows them in Penn Township. By the 1900 census they had moved on to Nebraska. Holley - My gggrandfather, Frank Zera Holley was born Mason, MI 2 Mar 1857. His brother, Edward Irving Holley, was also born there 31 Oct 1858. I have been looking at Mason, Ingham County, for years, since the family were early settlers of Ingham County. Just found the family in Mason Twp., Cass County, on the 1860 census. Parents were Joseph and Irene Graves Holley, who later moved to Illinois, then Kansas.

Wheeler - Researching Wheelers descended from Shepard Wheeler and Phoebe Jordan thru Shepard H Wheeler and Charlotte Barton thru Benjamin F Wheeler b. Dowagiac 1864? Wheelers came to cass county from NH via NY by the early 1830's. Shep was a mill builder and moved all around southwest > Michigan and Northern Indiana. Lottie Barton was b. NY or Markham, Canada, She had a sister Harriet who married Boyd W Phillips. Her maternal unlcle was Ira Allen White who is on one of your other > researchers list. I live in Grosse Ile, MI and am willing to do look ups for people here in the Detroit area.

White - I am the great-great-great granddaughter of Erastus and Eliza White. Erastus purchased the land that is now Dewey Lake Cemetery and donated it to the township to be used as a cemetery. He and his wife are both buried at Dewey Lake Cemetery. Erastus and Eliza are the parents of Rachel White Dewey, who is buried in the cemetery with them along with her young son.
