South of the Border in Ohio

If you can't find your ancestor in any of the above cemeteries and they lived in the southern portion of Lenawee County, check in Ohio. Remember there is a six-mile tract of land that was once considered part of Michigan but became part of Ohio after the Michigan/Ohio dispute (The "Toledo War"). Congress settled the dispute and gave that six-mile strip of land to the state of Ohio. These are some of the cemeteries within that strip of land that may contain Lenawee County residents.
