Moses enlisted for 1 year service at Coldwater on February 7, 1865, age 18. He was transferred to Company F, 7th Michigan Cavalry on June 7, 1865. He was mustered out at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, on December 13, 1865.This is a post war photo of Moses and his wife Kate and their daughter and also her 4 daughters by David Osborn.
