Company C, 23rd Michigan Infantry

All from Forest, Michigan, Rufus (Standing) enlisted August 8, 1862, at age 18. William E.(Left) enlisted August 5, 1862, at age 21 and Willard (Right) enlisted August 8, 1862, at age 21. All were mustered out of the service at Salisbury, North Carolina, on June 28, 1865.

Willard and William E. are buried in Otisville Cemetery at Otisville, Michigan.
