JENKINS, GEORGE B. - The Battle Creek Enquirer, Saturday, August 29, 1908
George B. Jenkins, aged sixty-four years, passed away at his home. East Fountain street, yesterday afternoon at 1: 40 o’clock Deceased was born in verona and has lived in Battle creek au his lite. He was in business in this city for many years, ducting a meat market on North terson avenue, in the old Ward block. and later on South Jefferson avenue. in the gleason block. Mr. Jenkins is survived by a wife and four children. Mrs. C. B. Halladay. Mrs. Chas. Dorman, Mrs. Clayton Spaulding. all of this city and Mrs. D. A. Benjamin, of Toledo, Ohio. He was a brother of Mrs. Rose Paxton. Mrs. L. K. Phelps and Mrs. R. W. Howe, deceased, all of this city, and Mrs. Charles Huggett. of olympia, Washington. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
JOHNSON, ARCHIBALD - Battle Creek Daily Journal, Thursday, November 4, 1886
Mr. Archibald B. Johnson died at hin home in Emmett, this morning of paralysis, aged 67 years. The funeral will be held from the late residence of the deceased, Sunday at 11 o’clock. Mr. Johnson has never fully recovered since his fall, while picking cherries in July, last, and a post mortem examination is being held today to determine the exact cause of his death
