KIRBY, FANNIE MAE - Battle Creek Journal, Wednesday, April 23, 1879
Mrs. Fannie Kirby died Friday night, of typhoid fever. The funeral was held at the family residence on the Reese road, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Her son, Frank Kirby, returned home Friday morning from Nebraska and was made aware of the death of his brother Albert and sister Fannie. Mr. Kirby is recovering and is able to be out.
KORNER, ADAM - Battle Creek Journal, Wednesday, May 31, 1876
Adam Korner, a former partner of P. H. Green, in the manufacture of cigars in the city, died at six o'clock last evening of quick consumption, aged twenty-nine years, The funeral services were held at the residence of Edward P. Packer, 41 Division St, 4 o'clock Monday afternoon.
KOST, LUDWIG - Battle Creek Daily Moon, Tuesday, August 5, 1884
Lew Kost, a well-known resident of Fountain street, died last night of dropsy aged 70 years. The funeral will be held at the house on Wednesday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock. The German Working men's Society, of which he was a member, will attend.
KOST, MARIE/MARY - Battle Creek Daily Moon, Tuesday, November 12, 1889
Mrs. Mary Kost died of consumption this morning, at No. 33 Locust street, at the residence of Albert Doremus, whose wife was a near relative, Deceased was 76 years of age and the relict of the late Louis Kost. The funeral will occur at 2 p.m. tomorrow from the residence, and Rev. J. A. Ford will officiate.
