Streets of Carsonville early 1900's taken by Frank Reed

Charles Henry Gebhardt and his wife Ida
(Gabriel). The photo was taken sometime in the 1920's. They emigrated
from Germany in 1873, and lived near Schock Rd. He was a furniture maker and farmer.

Original log house where my great-grandparents 
lived (C.H. and Ida Gebhardt). It stood on the Bay City-Forestville Rd. 
near Schock Rd. (between Forestville and Minden).

John Clyne


 

William Henry (1827-1874) in Carsonville, early 1870's.  He came to Sanilac from New York in the late 1860's.  He's buried in Lee Cemetery which is on the old Henry farm south of Carsonville.

John Udell and his grandson Lambert? Lanau.  Married to 1. Eunice Spencer 2. Margaret Westunburger and had children by both.  His tombstone.
